24 weeks!!!!

how far along: 24 weeks

total weight gain: 15 pounds. (can't believe I have gained two since last week)

baby is the size of: foot long sub

miss anything: beer, and vanilla lattes. i will miss all coffee this time of year.

cravings: grapes, and nachos

belly button in or out:  more so out than in.  but not all the way out yet.

looking forward to: having our nursery furniture delivered.  it comes next week!!!!!

best moment this week: going to target with my dear friend jenny to set up my baby registry.  so exciting!

maternity clothes:  maternity clothes all the time, otherwise oversized pajamas. 

labor symptoms: none

being 24 weeks somewhat puts my mind at easy with this pregnancy.  hopefully i won't go into labor early, but at this point in the pregnancy if i do, the doctors could do their best to save the baby if he does indeed come early.  i also am in complete shock that i am 6 months pregnant now!! it is crazzzyyy!!!!! this pregnancy is flying by so quickly.  

i have a doctor appointment tomorrow for my glucose test.  really not looking forward to doing it.  my doctor gave my the drink last time i was there and i picked the lemon-lime flavor because it seemed like the best option out of the three.  so tomorrow morning at 8am i will leave the house, to make it to my 9am appointment and on the way in i get to drink the drink.  very nervous.  i really hope i pass so i don't have to do the three hour test.  

i will try and remember to update tomorrow right when i get home from the appointment.  wish me luck!!!!!!!!!!!

Registry Time!!!!!!!

today was fun, fun, fun!!!!!!!!!!! i got to make my baby shower registry .  my lovely friend jenny llanes from llanes weddings took me over to target to help me register for stuff. being a first time mama i had no idea what to put on there.  but i think we scored with putting some good things on there, and i will also make an amazon registry with a few other things we need. 

what are your likes for newborns?   

can it be january already!?  i want to meet this kid!

23 Weeks!!!!!

so along with having pregnancy brain, i've just been way too darn tired to update this thing.  but i stumbled across a few other pregnant girls blogs, and loved something they were doing weekly to track their pregnancy.  so i thought i'd give that a shot, and see how that worked out for me.  so here goes nothing!!!!!!!!

how far along: 23 weeks!!!!!!! (well and 3 hours)

total weight gain: 13ish pounds

baby is the size of: ear of corn

miss anything: SLEEP!!!!!!!! it is impossible to get good sleep these days.

cravings: orange juice, eggo waffles (all the time!)

symptoms:  sciatica, insomnia, very moody this week.

belly button in or out: more so out, than in.

movement: lots of kicks here and there, as well as some rolling. 

looking forward to: setting up the nursery, cooler weather, and going to paris next month (seriously so excited)!!!!

best moment this week: nothing really stands out in my mind.  nothing horrible happened, but nothing great either.  maybe something will happen today or tomorrow!

maternity clothes: officially in maternity clothes mode.  none of my old dresses fit, and i am most definitely not fitting in any of my pre-pregnancy pants.  not that i ever wore pants any ways.  i have always been a dress kind of gal.

labor symptoms: none.

oh also!!!!!!!!!! a few weeks ago, we found out our baby is a BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  we could not be happier!!!!!!!!
